Jaguar Land Rover Visits CynLr

Jaguar Land Rover (JLR), a $38 billion company, faces challenges in automating its manufacturing processes.
Most tasks involved in assembling a car—like organising the 20,000 different parts, then kitting them, moving them to the assembly line, putting the bolts together, attaching the airbags, & changing interior still heavily relies on manual labour with an average age of approx. 45. That's approximately $2 billion, estimated 5% of revenue, spent on direct labour wages.
To address these challenges, JLR is exploring CynLr's vision-guided general-purpose robots, aiming to automate 95% of these tasks. JLR is keen on using CynLr's flexible and adaptable technology to address challenges in assembling variable parts and adapting to dynamic environments.
